I recently downloaded a program to help me root my Adroid phone and ended-up with this PIA program that just doesn't want to go away. Whenever I open IE or Chrome, it goes to
http://isearch.omiga-plus.com/?type=sc&ts=1420734100&from=adks&uid=MTFDDAK256MAM-1K12_13320384CD580384CD58. Changing the home page and search engine or meddling with the register files have so far not brought about any change for me.
Google is my friend, but it brings up a bunch of sites which I trust as far as I can throw them. I tried one or two Youtube video instructions but it didn't help either.
Has anyone had success removing this or can someone point me to a site that I can trust for this? I'm a bit paranoid now, haven't had a virus or malware for a long time, mainly due to being quite careful.
