Hi everyone,I just wanted to share my experience with everyone,hopefully this will help someone that's had the same problem.I bought a dvd player without a remote and couldn't find a replacement.I then came across a solution,which involves making a IR jack that's fits into the 3.5mm earphone Jack and downloaded a app called zaza remote from Google play store,found a suitable match in the app. and boom it works.....yamaha remote controls are not cheap.
