Hello fellow forum members.

Can you help? I have "old" equipment and certainly not top of the range compared to today's standards, but I make do with what I have.

I am able to get a RSP-1098. My question is I have a RSX-1057.

Would it be an upgrade? Be better to sell the RSX or is it better to stick with what I have as it has a tuner build in? Can I use the RSP for a DAC? Or would it be better to get an external media player / or a media player to play through the RSP which has a build in screen for media selection?

My current equipment is:

For stereo: RC-1090, RB-1070 and RDV-1040. For surround where I envision it: RSX-1057, RMB-1075 and RDV-1093.

Speakers Monitor Audio Bronze.

Any advice would be helpful.

Kind Regards,

Marius
