Hi all, my cinema room does not look anything like this pictures...this is the first iteneration of my room...
It was all wrong. The roof was done wrong and was leaking in when it rained.
Front seat too close to screen and the front seat occupants obscured the lower part of the screen with their shoulders and heads.
A Steel support beam also stole 20 cm at the top of the screen so you could not elevate the projector...
There was also no acoustics treatment or sound proofing done, a raw room then. And that is a problem, i live in an estate and the neighbors are close, so no loud music at night. Or explosion as Armegeddon happens over at my place could really disturb them at 11PM.
My wife could also not sit in the rest of the house as sound leaked terribly to the second floor tv room. So loud music was not really an option.
I intensly disliked the speakers i had in there, not for how they sounded but how it looked..
i wanted small but audiophile quality... something that would almost fade when hung on the wall.
Bose i hear you say? Nope. I want audiophile sound not gimmick sound. In a next post i will try to find pictures of the remoddling process to the finished product...
