Certain games still get me highly excited and Mass Effect is one of them. It's my most favourite game series. Before Mass Effect came along I would have said Half-life was my most favourite game of all time. No other game I've played can match Mass Effect's story and ability to drag me in.
It was designed from the start to be a trilogy where the actions you take in the first game would affect the story in the final game. I've still got my ME1 and ME2 safely backed up just for this.
I pre-ordered mine a while ago but it's expected to ship on Friday. I cannot wait
