The main contenders here in SA are Tidal, iTunes, Deezer right now, right? Spotify there yet? Recently we have discussed some issues re Tidal masters and their MQA-related problems. I remember reading that they indented to introduce native (non-MQA) flac quality following the backlash, has this happened?
Imo Deezer is pretty decent, but it has its own compatibility issues when it comes to hi-fi playback which is really annoying. So I am considering another change and I am thinking iTunes lossless this time. It is suppose to work via Android TV box (where Deezer seems to fall short) and the 24/48 quality that they offer at no extra cost is kind of appealing.
Any thoughts, suggestions, comments?
