Hello gentleman, I am a regular on other forums, so well aware of proper forum decorum, there is also regular reference made to this establishment. I am an absolute noob and most of the technical jargon and audiophile lingo will be lost on me.

I am however at a stage where I feel it is time to replace my Logitech G51s as one satellite is starting to crackle and it is just time to move on.

Without doing much reading the consensus is the run of the mill "gaming speakers" you get from your local pc shop leaves a lot to be desired. I do not have an unlimited budget and I realise this is a never ending rabit hole. I want to try and keep it as basic as possible, the less cables the better, I am tired of the absolute chaos that unfolds with a pc and 5.1 setup on one desk.

Some suggestions point to getting:

Bookshelve Speaker https://www.amazon.com/Sony-SSCS5-3-Driver-Bookshelf-Speaker/dp/B00O8YLMVA/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1539264829&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=sscs5&dpPl=1&dpID=41TdFgCmlVL&ref=plSrch&th=1

Sub https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0063NU30K/ref=dp_prsubs_1

Mini Amp https://www.amazon.com/Lepai-LP-2020TI-Instruments-TPA3118-Amplifier/dp/B071FJF4FF/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1539264922&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=lepai+lp2020ti&dpPl=1&dpID=41odxvspp1L&ref=plSrch

Duties and shipping makes this obviously a lot less attractive. I am looking for a value for money setup, ideally sourced locally (local is lekker and all things considered now is the time to support them), which could compliment my HD58X for gaming and some music. Please educate me.
