Hi all. Some assistance please. I'm always just caught up with the mind bending info in relation to ohms & wattage. I have a Yamaha rxv3900 receiver driving a pair of Jamo 707 speakers which are rated at 4ohms which I thought was powerful enough to drive without any hassles. But when listening at slightly high(not too high) volume the amp switches off. I was under the impression that the amp will increase its output to accommodate the load. Am I incorrect in assuming that? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
