So Yesterday afternoon I pick up something. I plug my system in to listen to a bit of music, connect my laptop to my dac, suddenly I have this computer background noise that wasn't there. Start diagnostic to see where the problem is, from changing dac's, noise is still there. When in pull the usb out of the laptop, then the noise go's away, change usb cables and power cables, same story. Grab the wife laptop that runs from battery power, no noise. The diagnostic started to show to main grid side because it sounded that something wasn't earthing correctly. Open the laptop charger to see if something went bad inside. nope, everything is ok in it. So I did a test, by disconnecting the earth from the charger, noise gone. I guess this problem is from the main grid under a lot of strain. At 10:30pm I connected the earth back onto the laptop charger and the noise was gone. Who picked up the same on there side?
