[QUOTE="skinnyfat, post: 573"] Welcome to the forum :D The room size is TBC as it will be going into a dedicated theatre room in my new house (when I decide to buy). The room will be acoutically treated with sound proofing, diffusers etc I'm upgrading from Kef's and I display a small amount of brand loyalty here  I'm not unhappy at all, just want to step up a bit. I would have to respectfully disagree with you on the amp upgrade. Kef ref 201/203 etc just wont be controlled properly by a yamaha 2500. I'm not knocking the yammy I LOVE it but to do speakers of this calibre justice, a good power amp is the trick All of the above is not going to happen overnight as I'm not related to Donald Trump (I wish) so for now I'll take one piece (of kit) at a time.
