Recently ordered a whole bunch of 1980s CDs from CDUniverse.com in the States. Mostly music that I listened to during my student days. Paid about R85 per CD (including postage and import duties). Three of the CDs that I have been listening to quite a bit lately: Demon 'The Unexpected Guest', Charged GBH 'City Baby's Revenge' and Metal Church 'The Dark'.

Picked these up from a good friend... 

Master Copy in excellent condition. I know, it is "country", but he had a couple of good titles...
Sound is awesome on this.

Half Speed Master. Sounds MUUUUCH better than my original.

Well, I have a nice morning in with my 1 year old, so I thought I'd put a bit o variety on.... Started with Coldplay 'Viva la vida', now moving onto Radiohead 'the Bends' and will probably finish off before the cricket with either Building 429 'Rise' or 'the Singletrack' self titled.

Ah, nice relaxing morning! Its reall quite cute seeing my 1yr old dancing to Coldplay and Radiohead! He's a groovy wobbler! hehe!

Almost a contradiction, the cover itself.

Viva La Vida is quite a famous paining by the artist Frida Khalo.

Coldplay's album cover is a painting from 1830, it's entitled Liberty leading the people, from the French Revolution (I think)
Well, not much good life in revolution is there

Well, I never made it to Cape Town Band 'the Singletrack' (now disbanded).... Having my third listen to Building 429!!

Sounds great through these Bostons, and its a HDCD too.

Nice album, well-composed songs, and Taylor Swift's unique vocals, let down by absolutely horrid production/mastering. It's flat, with no dynamic range, and woolly bass. Sad really, cause it's a nice listen.
