You always hear this. Eat lots of fruit. But this is my experience. A lot, and I mean a lot of people working with me eat at least 5 fruits a day. Apples mostly. All of them get the flu more regularly than me. I do with times not get the flu 3 years in a row, then it hits me again. These people who eat so perfectly still gets the flu at least once a year. My opinion as a non medical professional is that no matter how full of vitamins you are, you will still get the flu if you get enough exposure to the virus. You must just try to not get these viruses in your body. The question is how. Washing hands etc will help. But what else? That is why I started this thread. I will never buy vitamins again. 10 tablets at R80.00 a pop is just a money making scene. Especially since you must keep in mind that studies have shown that taking in vitamins while sick, will not make your flu last a day less. What then is the point of buying vitamins when you are sick? If you need vitamins rather eat a fruit, not that it really keeps the doctor away..
