What are your biases in the world of hifi, audio and sound?

Whilst these preferences are the "ideal", one cannot always stick to those preferences. Sometimes a really special piece of equipment comes across your path and it is simply not made in your preferred colour, then compromises have to be made. An example is my Teac Z6000 3-head cassette deck which only comes in Nad grey (as far as I am aware of) whilst my main setup is black. I was not about to pass up the opportunity to own such a good deck just because the colour did not match the rest of my gear.</p></blockquote><p></p>
