I've got 2 vintage (50 yr old) Philips 1256/W8 (12") drivers and an itch to make a subwoofer. I'm not aiming for head banging bass, rather something that can fill that 15 to 30hz range...think pipe organ. I know these drivers have a low free air resonance...some literature says 15hz others 19hz. This would indicate that they are fit for purpose. What is the best way to achieve the objective?
