I've got a pair of KEF 3001 sats I use for my rears. They fit flush against the wall, very snug, but I had the same vibration problem around the 150Hz-200Hz mark (used REW to track down the frequency causing the problem). I bought some damping foam (there you go waterhond ;)), cut it down to size and placed it behind the sats, worked a treat. I'm sure any relatively firm foam would work. Just as thought if you find that it's not the grills.
