I would just like to give honour where it due. I joined the forum about 2 years ago with very limited knowledge about audiophilia, however I?m a lover of music and really desire to get as close to the musical experience that artist aimed to produce. Browsing the forum I had often come across mention of a SA manufacturer by the name of ?Valve Audio? that continually received praise for its equipment and that the master behind it all was a real genius and gentleman. My interest had been sparked and after doing some further reading on the forum, AVSA and other websites I noted that Valve Audio are focused on creating equipment which includes valve technology and my father always said ?boy if you want to hear real music you need to hear valves!? With some disposable income to spend I contacted Schalk and requested a demo of the Exclame amplifier which is a Valve Audio lower level offering and I certainly liked what I heard and opted to order one. After owing it for a few months now I am completely captivated by the sound that it produces. The amplifier which is at the cost of most mid-fi equipment, in my opinion completely blows the completion out of the water. If you are looking for a truly gorgeous and engrossing musical experience I highly recommend you to put Valve Audio on your consideration list. :2thumbs:
