Turns out I was caught in cyber attack crossfire. After querying the incident- which is still causing me grief. I have been informed by ESET that the remote viewer that I downloaded and installed at the technician's request, was hacked big time. https://theatlasnews.co/analysis/2024/02/04/anydesk-discloses-cybersecurity-breach-production-systems-compromised/ I contacted ESET support on 16 January. The technician session was on the afternoon of 16 January. The 1st notification of a suspicious account login was on 17 January and my website was shut down on 19 January. Cowboy is of the opinion that there should be compensation. On Anydesk's website: We have no evidence that any customer data has been exfiltrated. Again, we also have no evidence that any end-user devices have been affected by this incident. Yeah! Right! I'm still getting login attempt notifications and finding that not all accounts send notifications. They just lock accounts. What a hack- literally....
