I haven't listened to my stereo setup for 2 months now. To make it worse, I got a new REL sub almost 2 months ago that I haven't even hooked up yet. Why? Because every damn evening escom proclaims that the grid is "under severe pressure". I'm not convinced about the pressure, but the voltage stability is hell. Two weeks ago our substation in Pta east also exploded. No power for a week. Fortunately I always leave everything audio-visual unplugged. Power is back on but we still get our daily "under pressure" messages. At 9pm you get told that all is well and la di da. But by then the kids are asleep and yet another evening gone with no music. More than 65 days now. I wish I could get stable voltage. I miss listening to my music.
