OK so this has developed into another cable thread, which I'm not sure was the OP's intention. Do we continue discussing whether digital cables sound different? Yeah, why not? I got a Wireworld Ultra Violet USB cable as part of a deal. Plugged it between PC and Audio-gd NFB11.32 DAC/Amp (replacing Audioquest Pearl USB), not expecting to hear any difference at all. And yet the difference was immediately apparent and easy to hear in terms of better staging and detail. I was astounded and confused at the same time. I am after all a staunch Objectivist! (When I'm not enjoying being Subjective). The Wireworld cable along with clean power from a Furman conditioner have improved the NFB11 dramatically. So my experience is that decent cables can make a difference if your gear is up to it. How far it goes I can't say, but I doubt there is much more to be gained in my system by spending more.
