Our Little Luxury counter top water cooler is no longer cooling.
It's probably around 18 years old and the only fix I've done in the past is to modify a new tap to fit.
I've just taken it all apart.
I switched it on in it's tear down state and held my fingers on that square cooling plate which is secured to the small, internal reservoir.
A huge aluminium heat sink was secured to the back of the cooler disc.
There was no heat or cooling sensation.
The fan was running and the LEDs were on ... except the green one which indicates the cold water is ready.
A replacement water cooler is around R1800,00 .. so a no-go.
