Hi If you're building a new house you'd be nuts to forgo the opportunity to install additional PVC reticulation throughout to have the option of connectivity should you decide you need it. I renovated a house I'd purchased locally whilst living overseas and because I was in a hurry to finish, didn't think to add conduit. Everyday I'm reminded what a dumb-ass oversight that was. Wireless is no substitute for wired when it comes to reliability and if your conduit is of large enough diameter adding/ replacing cabling as technologies change is a pretty easy task. Another thing to think about is whether you have the opportunity to install your hi-fi/ av equipment in a "room" created for the purpose. A friend of mine used the area underneath a stairwell for this purpose and had openings made in the side wall facing the home theater room. The body of all his gear plus all the cabling etc. sits out of sight behind the wall (i.e. in the stairwell), whilst in the home theater room you only see the front of the gear neatly "mounted" in the wall, speaker leads coming out of the wall and speakers. Saves space in the HT room, great for cooling gear and the tidiest setup I've ever seen.
