[QUOTE="Bernard, post: 68715, member: 1538"] Cor blimey, thanks guys. Life was a bit simpler a few days ago. I think I'll take a quick picture this weekend, from above where I sit and looking down towards the speakers and post it here. I do have curtaining near the left speaker and a timber drywall partition on the right side. At least I have a starting point now. Between the speakers and towards the back of them ( about 900mm ) is a metal Jetmaster type fireplace ... I suppose I'm getting reflections from that as well ? The picture will explain it all though. What pattern do the sound waves take ? Can I draw concentric circles radiating out from the drivers. I use CAD so I'll be able to plot the whole room and position the speakers, walls etc and pop in those half circles coming out of the speakers and see where everything bounces ... or maybe I should invest in an old barn with an earth floor and walls miles away.
