I've had my speakers and chair in what I thought was the sweet spot but have been playing around with a little shareware signal generator ( SigJenny ). My speakers are 2m apart, 1m from the rear wall and my ears are 2,9m from the speaker cones ( Used a laser range finder ) I just set the SigJenny to 100Hz and sat down. If I move my head forward slightly the bass becomes much stronger, likewise if I move my head further back. ( seat position remains the same ) To me it sounds clearer between those two nodes. Anyone have any comments to offer .... apart from the fact that I may be nit picking. Does my speaker / seat position sound reasonable. I am only able to move the speakers closer together or move my chair closer to them.
