Sonos multiroom music system installation in Hout Bay, Cape Town.
Join us for a short video overview of a Sonos audio system installation.
The highlight of this installation was the Sonos Surround Sound installation in the "cinema room" as our client calls it.
This is made up a Sonos ARC soundbar, a pair of Sonos One SL speakers for surround sound and Sonos Sub to provide the bass for the room.
The television in this room is a Samsung 85" QLED television, installed on a Vogels pull & turn wall mount bracket.
In the main living area of the house, we have installed 2 pair of Sonance by Sonos outdoor speakers along the rafters of the main living room. This provides audio that filters down through the main living room, bar, dining room and kitchen. These 4 speakers are powered by a Sonos AMP.
For outdoor audio, we have installed 1 pair of Sonance by Sonos outdoor speakers, powered by a Sonos AMP.
This provides great audio for the outdoor dinning area, as well as enough sound for the pool deck.
The gym features a Sonos Five for easy to use local music while working out.
In the bedrooms we have installed a Sonos Era 100 speaker in each room for the kids to be able to listen to their own music without disrupting the rest of the house.
This installation was completed in April 2023 and took 12 hours to complete, which includes:
• pre-Installation of all speaker cables, power point, etc.
• Assembly of equipment like the Vogels speaker brackets & Vogels TV wall brackets.
• Installation of the Samsung TV on the Vogels TV wall bracket
• Installation of the Sonos ARC soundbar
• Installation of the Sonance Outdoor speakers internally
• Installation of the Sonance Outdoor speakers externally
• Setup and configuration of a new Sonos account for our client.
• Client handover and training on the use of their new audio system
