[QUOTE="frikkie, post: 642973, member: 845"] I started DJing in clubs in '84, at the tender age of 14. Most of the club names you mention I remember vividly. i was resident at Raffles in Bellville, Nurythmics in Milnerton, and Double-Bar-X out by Morning Star in those years. My clubbing nights I spent almost exclusively in Trammps in Green Point - I knew the DJs very well and often hung around in tne Dj box , sometimes even spinning a disk or two whilst the two of them take a "smoke" break. Other memorable spots were After Hours in Wale Street, Cats in Loop, Crazy River Cafe in Waterkant (Dj'd there a few nights as well), Charlie Parkers in Sea Point (same venue where decodance is now) - Patrick Vee ftw... and of course, the obligatory Comic Strip, Gecko Lounge, George's, etc etc etc. Now, in my old age, I run my own night club...
