Does anyone know of a device that will allow switching between two preamps, alternatively a preamp and an AV processor facilitating connection to the same stereo power amp? I would like to do some a/b testing between two preamps and the AV processor that I?m currently using. If the preamp offers a distinguishable improvement with stereo I would like to leave it in the system for stereo playback. Needless to say the preamp/s do not have home theatre bypass. I saw a stereo audio selector switchboard on AliExpress but would rather avoid shipping and the DIY route. QED has a 2 way expander, the IX20 (https://www.superfi.co.uk/p-3646-discontinued-qed-ix20-2-way-input-expander.aspx) that may work although intended for line level devices. It is important that the device will allow the signal to merely pass-through without interference if that is even possible. Please help? I don?t know what is available or what to look for :nfi: Thanks for looking.
