Just got the Onkyo 807 and having similar issues with my samsung LA40A610 panel. When i connect my PS3 fatty and Samsung DVD directly to the panel no hdmi issues, except when i load BD/Games on the ps3 the panel looses signal for about 10 secs and the adjusts. However when i connect them via the amp it only detects the dvd if its on prior to putting the amp on and if i switch sources and come back to the dvd source it takes about 2-3minutes to detect it again and during that time i get no sound or picture. For the PS3's case sometimes it does not detect it at all, no sound no pic. Called Samsung SA and asked them if there was a firmware upgrade for my panel and they said there was and that it should solve this issue. I'm not entirely sure its just the panel as i aslo don't get sound during these black out times. Not sure what to do next ...
