The ones I have bought are 105 degrees vs the current ones that are 85 degrees This was my thoughts and my reasoning behind wanting to do so. Besides , My reason for buying a 5 ch was to bi-amp my speakers. I was happy to leave the amp the way it was until I saw that I need to give it TLC , so will do everything at the same time. My other question that I didn't ask before.. The front and rear inputs are directly next to each other. So I was thinking of joining them together inside the amp by means of the same wire they join the input jacks to the amp board and basically the 2nd input would be able to be used as an output to the sub as it will be joined to the 1st input (This will be done using the same method they've used and can easily be undone later, anyone who has seen the inside of these should hopefully know what I'm talking about). My intention, to power front and rear channels with 1 rca cable in and use the 2nd rca input as a sub output. Will the pre outs of my Yamaha RXV659 be able to sufficiently deliver signal to what will effectively be 3 sources ( 2 inputs on the Rotel and one on the sub p/ch - This will be done on both channels). This would be the same principal almost as car amps are done which have inputs/outputs next to each other which are basically just 2 pairs of plugs which can both do either. Do pre outs work the same way as speaker outputs where the resistance reduces when more inputs are connected to one output?
