It took 6 weeks of reading silly excuses from AirBnB to get my payment back for a flat in Tokyo Imagine Cruises are still playing silly buggers in refunding the cruise payment. I got the email address of one Robin Deller, the CEO who is also the CEO of Virgin Travel in the UK. One email to him and I get this smarmy phone call from a lady who says she is the Customer Sales Manager for IC in Cape Town. It was like listening to someone who pressed "play" on a tape recorder The gist of her excuse was that IC were still awaiting a refund from Holland America Line. However, I had already received an email from HAL which stated that ALL agents had full refunds on 22nd February. She knew nothing about this. I suggested her she was trying to BS me and should think of a better excuse, or another email would go to Robin Deller Of course the ultimate excuse that I can do nothing about is that their office is closed. However, on calling their 086- number, you are told they are working from home. I called her number but she is not answering. I had booked some excursions in Japan for April. These were insured via Guardrisk. They declined the claim on the grounds that Coronavirus is not mentioned on the policy schedule
