I?m in the process of building a projector screen and I want to do this properly. The most common screen ratio is 16:9 but there is also cinema wide screen ratio which is 2.35:1 which gives the best view when watching movies. I have seen on the net some people have 2/35:1 fixed screens. My projector plays both formats depending on what it?s being fed. Is there anything one can do to make the projector to be fixed on 2.35:1 or one needs a specific type of projector to do that?
