These new speakers will be in a completely different league to anything I've experienced before. So is it worth, for me, spending R8k+ on two speakers vs. R8k on five speakers? Maybe I must first enjoy the upgrade to R8k 5-set speakers to truly appreciate the difference a nice set-up can make and then naturally progress to an even better high-end set-up. I don't know. I have a feeling that the five speaker option would be like 500% better than current, but the 2 speaker option only 600% better. And for the money involved I'm inclined to take the first option. Is my logic misguided??
Also for a bit cheaper is Mission m33's. BTW thanks for all the advice! I've really learnt a lot from all the constructive advice on this forum. I'm struggling with the following concept - paying R8,000 for a set of speakers is seriously way more than anything I've ever spent before on audio (current set-up is a R2000 Teac home theater in a box system :-[).
