^^^ Perfectionist thank you very much for your input. I have completely re-arranged my room over the weekend after this measurement shown here, based on some suggestions from forum members. It is now almost symmetrical and I have a better view over the vineyards next to SeanS house and some of the Boland mountains. The speakers rear are now also facing some reasonably heavy, suppose to be acoustic curtains, rather than blank brick walls. I will take another measurement tonight with the new layout( need to first get some longer speaker cables first) and post it. The SPL meter is not in the correct position It was higher than ear height. I will use a different stand for the next measurement to get it as close as possible to ear height and head position. Is it better to measure on the chair like that or do I move the chair away and then do the measurement? I will definitely remember the FRK on the panels. Just some questions with regards to the panels 1. Are you comfortable with U-Therm-8 for the panels? 2. Do you believe acoustic foam can work as well or better for panels? 3. What would be the ideal size for panels? 4. Are wooden frames OK?
