Have a friend visiting from overseas. He brought me two spectacular Blu Ray disc sets that we watched over the weekend. First one being Mumford & Sons Dust & Thunder - live from South Africa. For those that enjoyed Red Rocks, go & get this one too. Sound & video surpass Red Rocks by a country mile, & the band themselves are for more interactive with the crowds. At one point Marcus gets off the stage & walks through the audience/crowd whilst singing. Add in a cameo appearance from Baba Maal & The Very Best, plus a new track written whilst they were on the ZA tour & you have a visual & aural feast! The second is Joe Bonamassa - Live at The Greek Theatre. Also a fantastic disc, The 5.1 mix is excellent, the crowd interacts really well once they get into it, as does Joe. His guitar work is a pleasure to watch, as is Anton Fig on the drums. Old school blues rock, but an excellent watch all the same.
