Live concerts on Bluray? I own just 3 of these on Bluray, the rest are DVD's. IMO... most live concerts just plain SUCK! Not every great musician or vocalist has the ability to perform their own songs live, let alone "entertain" a crowd of fans. Sting has some great songs but no "charisma" imo. Would I go see him live or purchase the Bluray? I don't think so. The only live Blurays I thoroughly enjoyed was "Adele - Live At The Royal Albert Hall" Her laid-back style of music doesn't allow for much "entertainment" but it's not necessary here because the quality of her live vocals more than makes up for it. "The Hitman Returns" comes in at 2nd for me. Maybe because we're not being forced to watch a whole hour of someone making a complete "fool" of themselves on-stage. The variety is welcome. *Michael Jackson would be in 1st place for me if ever his concerts were to make it to Bluray. No other artist is BOTH "watchable" AND "listenable" or makes me involuntarily wanna "do the moves" the way MJ does. The sad truth is we will likely never again see a live performer of such versatility. Only Freddie Mercury came close.
