The summer of '42 The Thomas Crown Affair (1968) Love Story Even though I hate the film, The Atchison Topeka and the Santa Fe is forever embossed in my head. The two most iconic, probably John Barry's Dr No, and Henry Mancini's Pink Panther ! Some personal obscure favourites: Gheorghe Zamfir's theme from Picnic at Hanging Rock (Thanks Fdlsys for the long sought LP) Alan Price's O Lucky Man! Peter Gabriel's entire score to Birdy Harry Nilsson's Everybody's Talkin' (The midnight cowboy) Cristopher Cross' theme from Arthur And since A Clockwork Orange came up, what of Singing in the Rain? (Gene Kelly was apparently extremely upset that Malcolm McDowell dared to attach this song to such an unholy film as ACWO)
