I have the smaller brother of this and love the pic quality.
I will change to Samsung when they release their QOLED. 20% brighter. That's what the LG is lacking.
Our lounge is on the darker side of things and I've actually toned down some of the brightness levels on Filmmaker mode...

Gaming mode is much brighter but looks absolutely awesome in HDR at 4k!

The older 1080p panels in our rooms looks like utter crap when I get into bed at night :ROFLMAO:

Can confirm.
I picked up the Apple USB-C to 3.5mm adapter to try on a Raspberry Pi running Pi Core Player with a LMS server.
Not quite as good as a Fiio E10k on the same Pi, but it's 10% of the cost, and 90% of the audio quality.
Did take a bit of fiddling to get output levels up, but setting both channels to 0dB on ALSA solved that.

For my needs, casual streaming of Spotify to multiple zones via my Yamaha RX-A2020 it's perfect.
Have ordered one to pair with a Rotel RA-970 and Bentley Acoustics FS120s in the bedroom as well. For more critical listening
I'll stick with CDs, or Tidal via a much better DAC.

Great value for what it is, and a good starting point for anyone reluctant to spend money on a really good DAC while dipping
their toes into the hobby.

Thanks for the post, it was a very inexpensive solution to a problem I've been reluctant to spend money on.

Nice looking set ups. And it is fun to see some tubes in some of them. I have been told that tubes make a rounder sound that solid state. I know my ears like a tube sound.

These are from Soundblab yes, some amazing things coming up soon, and it's 10min drive from my work, the things look better than most commercial products I've seen being offered from most places today.
