[QUOTE="Doogle, post: 23550, member: 392"] Hi CS When I go into something, I do so to the n'th degree, so have already downloaded the manual, researched the MartinLoganClub forum, etc, etc. But don't get me wrong, I really do appreciate all the input from more experienced players - thats why I love this forum! I think I just need to get used to a totally different type of sound from the dipolar speakers. I must say that my relatively inexpensive Jamo's are sounding awesome right now - Just bought a Prima Luna Prologue 3 Preamp for my Monsoons (Hope Scalk is not listening :-[ cause I really wanted a Black Widow Pre but just couldn't stretch to double the price of the PL) I listen to a lot of vocal and small ensemble Jazz, and like a crisp open sound with lots of slam, top and bottom, and a tight bass. The Jamo's are very focussed now and the soundstage is very deep and 3 dimensional, so its gonna be hard to achieve with the ML's, especially considering I have very limited manoevreabilty in my small lounge, and don't have clean walls behind them - they have to stand in front of the new wall unit. But it's early days yet......... we'll see.......... ;D Doogle PS - The stators still seem nice and shiny with no excessive spotting, but I do believe they have been unused for quite some time.
