[QUOTE="LAV, post: 90588, member: 1123"] Power ratings tell a very small part of the story. I used to have a NAD 304 for many years, 40 Watt/channel but had a fat power supply for its size and it was happy driving almost everything (of course I did not try driving electrostatics or Maggies) Test-drive the PM6003 with the B&W 685s. I see that the PM7003 is rated at 70 W per channel and is only R 600 more expensive according to HFX Systems' RRP on their website, so that could be an option. Other options could be the NAD C355BEE (80W) or the C326BEE (50W) Before the anti-Yammie brigade kills me, :P consider the Yamaha AS-series amps. too, although the AS 1000 is fairly expensive.
