[QUOTE="Rodney_gold, post: 27425, member: 579"] ALL audio is psychoacoustic. If you are convinced an item works , even if it doesn't , it WILL work for YOU. So to the guy that buys the tweak and reads the blurb , there will be difference , even if one doesnt exist.....its a truism for him. I have proved it , I had 3 audiophiles around and presented them with 3 different setting on a digital parametric EQ , one with more bass , one with more treble and bypass. Anyway I switched between em , telling em which one it was , and they all commkented on the difference and their preferences. Problem was......I never ever switched to ANYTHING barring bypass. They were astounded.... It was an excellent excercise in the power of suggesation and the tricks our mind plays on us. However..and Im not saying this product is one of those.....there is a band of fraudsters who prey on audiophiles angst. They develop products and write pseudoscientific "explanations" , it as tho they try to develop the most wacky and outrageous product and price them in the stratospheric regions. Its tho they are secretly laughing at us and chuckling about who they can sucker next. Gives a bad name to all tweakers. The comment about a decent couch is probably the BEST tweak , if your listening room is aesthetically pleasing and your seat is comfortable , you will hear better sound as you are more relaxed and at peace with yourself, Much the same as when tea tastes better from a fine china cup than a blik......
