Try and move them out 100mm including your bass traps and try have a gap between top and bottom traps of 100mm. Do a measurement and see what you get. By opening up a space you are allowing the trap to work from the front and the back.</p><p></p><p>Does your equipment have time alignment? If it doesn't then you will have to physically move one of your speakers in very small increments until the two measurements line up.
