Glad you loved them Nick! Like I always say, now you can enjoy your music the way it was meant to be! Nothing compares to these unless you spend 40k+. But off course there are reasons for the other big brands not to sound as good. 1. Its their cheap range - cheap because everything about them is cheap, including the drivers and cabinets. 2. You cant have your entry level speaker sound just as good as your 100k speaker, because then who will buy the 100k speakers if the babies sound just as well, same basically as a 318i BMW vs a M3. - Same same but very different! 3. Overcompensation on a specific frequency range (vocals especially) is common on the big brands these days. So when you hear them the first time you think, wow they are so clear, actually they are just bright and shouty, after 10min of listening you become tired. 4. No real balance between bass/mids/highs - a speaker needs to perform well across the range, not only in certain areas, something very few entry level models do. 5. Loud with lots of bass means nothing if the vocals and highs cant keep up, most big brands either bottom out or become so bright they hurt your ears, its like listening to oom Gert playing music at a wedding almost full blast on his disco speakers, meanwhile your silent voice tells you to run because your ears are starting to bleed! Anyway just glad after all your demos etc you heard for yourself!! Thanks for the fantastic feedback!! PS : I heard they gave your wife Goosebumps! - Thats the ultimate compliment!! :Whoohoo:
