Just bare in mind that the 683's are large power hungry 3 ways, and I'm not sure how much power your Marantz delivers, seems to be quite a serious unit. I've recently upgraded to a set of CM9's (very similar spec to the 683) and they are a huge step up from my Wharfedale 10.6's (similar to the Bronze 6's in terms of size/weight and being 2.5 ways). I'm not suggesting the Wharfedales are in the same league as the MA's, but are a similar speced product. My very modest Denon BT540 HT amp drove the Wharfedales quite adequately, no chance on the B & W's. Neither my Yamaha ax-396 (65 wpc) stereo amp, or my mates Marantz PM5004 could even get much volume out of the B & W's, never mind any sort of bass. The little marantz shut itself down! The MA's and the Klipsch will be much more forgiving on a HT amp. To me the point of putting large floorstanders in a HT set up is the bass these can deliver. Without a power amp, I can't imagine the 683's will give you very much, but the the other two probably will, the Klipsch definitely at 98dB. You can get a lot of sub power for quite small money these days, why not rather go for decent stand mounts with a sub/s? Just my opinion based on the above experience. I only use my floorstanders for stereo, so I'm no HT expert (or any other type for that matter!).
