[QUOTE="Stu_Mack, post: 902640, member: 13584"] Here are the details of my hodge podge system, that is made up of second hand units sourced mainly off this forum: Speakers: Fronts: 802N Centre: CDMCTN Rears: CDM1NT Sub: ASW CDM Power amps: Rotel RB933 to power the fronts and centre Rotel RB976 running the rears in bridged mode, one spare channel AVR: Marantz AV7005 Source: Marantz UD5005 Marantz CD-38 Chrome Cast Raspberry Pi NAD 5120 DAC: Theta DSPro Basic The Room is around 5x6m, fully carpeted, curtains on the windows, have bass traps in the corners behind the fronts as that 90 degree corner caused some issues. Room is not sealed though, opening to the dining room on the right wall, near the back. I used to run CDM9NT's as the fronts, but only recently upgraded to the 802's, the difference is as big as I expected and to answer you initial question the system is wanting for nothing as it stands at the moment. But then again I do have quite torglodyte ears. I know the RB933 is underpowering the 802's but there is not much I can do about that now. My main concern with the cabling was that it was throttling the performance of the current amp and speaker combo and that I there was a way to unlock even more 802 goodness before doing the power amp upgrade.
