I know, I can ask at least 2 people on this forum, but then only us 3 will know the answer,  so for everyone's benefit and me to learn, here goes:

I now have a dedicates setup feeding my Audio and Video equipment, currently consisting of a 3kw Growatt pure sinewave inverter, 2x 100Ah deep cycle batteries and 4x solar panels.

The technician who installed for me set the inverter to prioritise battery.

According to the manual, setting solar as priority will add power from and eventually swap to battery when solar become insufficient or unavailable for the load, and only when the batteries are depleted to a pre-set point, bypass grid power to the feed. In battery priority, the solar power seems only to charge the battery, nothing else.

Now, which setting will be better- solar priority or battery priority? (And why, please?)
