Hi all,
Will a Victron MultiPlus-II 48/5000/70-50 fed by 2x3.55kWh batteries be happy with the inrush current of a 3HP table saw motor or a Hammer A331 thicknesser/planer?
3HP is around 2.2kW and according to this , a single-phase motor can draw up to 6x its rated power to start up. That is >13kW!!
If all this is to be believed, the 48/8000/110-100 would be better suited with a 15kW peak power capacity. The 5000 can only do 9kW.
I'd like to get some advice from someone with real world experience.
Thanks.
