I am astonished that some people deem it necessary to send me a PM about this I have two comments to make If you are presented with a restaurant bill containing items you did not order or consume, do you just pay it and smile? I think not The table next to us had 3 bottles of wine, ordered off the menu. This wine appeared on my bill. I showed it to the fellow at the next table and he promised to get it sorted, but the waiter initially serving our table was no longer there My visitors from the UK had been waiting since 7.45 to 10.30 for some food. They walked out, called an UBER car and left. No-one noticed that they had gone. I waited around until 11.15 when I was shown a bill which included items I had not ordered. The waiter who brought the bill, when challenged, said that "someone else" had told him to give me this bill, he had no idea what we had ordered or consumed I go to restaurants at least 8 to 10 times a month, particularly MamaRoma off Dean Street in Newlands. There is never such a bugger-up as I experienced here
