Thanks to all the discussions on this very forum, I, too, caved in and bought a BR DVD Player :o. Got hold of a Denon DVD-1800BD player at a reasonable price. Then the search for a BR disk began - what a nightmare. Only a choice of about 20 titles locally, none of which inspired me. Eventually settled on "Bolt", because I hadn't yet seen it so what the heck. Picture-quality wise, the BR format is streets ahead of a normal DVD player, a good test was to read the small print at the end of a film and note how much clearer it is. This comment, however, is based purely on the trailers that came with the unit, as I swapped from HDMI/Component/Composite Video outputs. I haven't had the opportunity to watch the movie Bolt yet. The bug bit me, so I spread the word round and today I will be taking delivery of a suitable Denon AVR4308 HDMI receiver as well. Now I have to find a suitable replacement for the 55" Philps RPTV which is unfortunately not HDMI compliant. :-[ -F_D
