I've moved my second pair of Polk RTi8's back into the rear position in my HT room so I now have two pairs of them in the current setup. If I didn't want to change any further components in this set up, what else is there that I can do to further enhance performance? The front RTi8's are biwired btw. I can think of the following 1. Cabling 2. Add another 12" sub 3. Mono blocks? My understanding here is that I would/could be able to drive either the fronts or the rears via the monoblocks. Correct? 4. Room treatment? I already have heavy drapes, a nice thick rug, a long 4 seater plus a 2 seater and a heavy cabinet in the rear of the room. Is there anything else I could do? 5. I also use this room for music listening so would a dac be something to consider? I currently listen to music via the Onkyo dvd player 5. Lighting. I have two sets of downlights. One set can dim whilst the other cannot so I guess adding a dimmer switch into the other set? 6. Popcorn machine and coke dispenser perhaps ;D Cheers Daniel
