I bought a heap of the lithium batteries from @seanjammy but I want to get the most from the existing lead-acid batteries before chucking them away. I have lots of older LA batteries in my garage, too, but I can't think of a suitable way to test them. I have a UPS which I can use as a testing rig and my idea was to cycle the batteries through the UPS by hooking it up to an LCD screen, cutting the incoming AC and seeing how long the battery lasts. This could be an arduous and lengthy task...
Any suggestions on how else I can test a 12V lead-acid battery? I don't have any in-depth equipment to do so - only my trusty multimeter.
