Based on the online calculator I use, it should be pushing about 10w. Assuming the spl meter app on my galaxy s2 and s4 are correct. Getting peak reading of 90db at 3m for the two 684's. (tron bluray). And about 92db peak reading with music cd and dvd. If I run the 684's through the receiver then the spl is about 3db louder (at - 5db on the receiver volume) , but sounds a LOT louder due to distortion I guess. The receiver is an old 6300, 100w/ch. Goes from -75db to +10db. Edit: I'm assuming it's distortion, as the sounds aren't as distinct, but it could just be the sound of the receiver or it just has a lot less dampening. Everything sounds thin on the receiver whereas the power amp sounds like nu metro even without the sub! :p
